Buffalo Niagara Airport Transportation

On weekdays during peak travel times, Buffalo’s Metro Bus runs an airport express bus, Route 204, directly from the Buffalo business district and the downtown Metro Bus station to the airport. For passengers traveling at other times who wish to take the city bus, Route 24, Route 27 and Route 68 all run to the airport. Metro Bus also accommodates passengers with disabilities and special needs.

Besides Buffalo’s city bus services, a number of other bus companies include airport stops. Greyhound and Megabus both stop at the airport, and there are many private shuttle services as well. These include Niagara Airbus and the Buffalo Airport Express. Services such as these must generally be booked in advance. Travelers should research their choice of company ahead of time to find out the best way to arrange for pickup and transportation. Many of the companies will transport travelers to Canada as well as to the Buffalo metro area.

Limousine and town car services are available as well and generally should also be arranged in advance. The companies include Buffalo Limousine Service, Jewel of Niagara Limo, Toronto Town Car, Southamptom Limo and many more.

Taxis do not have to be booked ahead of time, and there are a number of taxi companies in the Buffalo area as well as taxis available at the airport itself. Taxi companies include AAA Taxi Tour & Shuttle, 5-0 Taxi and ITA Taxi.

Travelers staying at many of the hotels in the Buffalo area will be able to take advantage of complimentary airport shuttle service. Hotels which offer this shuttle service to their guests include the Hampton Inn, the Hilton Garden Inn and the Holiday Inn Express. Many of these hotels are also located in the vicinity of the airport.

Finally, a number of nationally known rental car agencies operate out of the airport including Avis, Budget, Enterprise and Hertz.
