Dallas Fort Worth Airport Information

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is one of the busiest in the world. It hosts over 56 million passengers and over 660,000 flights each year. It is also the fourth largest airport with over 18,000 acres and eight runways. The airport is the main hub for American Airlines and subsidiary American Eagle. These two airlines dominate the facilities, utilizing Terminals A, B and C. All other domestic flights use Terminal E. Domestic airlines include Delta, Frontier, JetBlue, US Airways, and United. Foreign carriers include British Airways, Air Canada, Lutfhansa, Emirates, Qantas, TACA, Sun Country Airlines, Cayman Airlines, and KLM. Foreign flights use Terminal D. Skylink light rail links the terminals, but above-ground shuttles are also available.

Parking garages can be found at each terminal. With 28,000 spaces, you should have no difficulty finding a place to park. Valet parking and less expensive remote parking are also available on-site. The terminals and parking are all on International Parkway. You can reach the airport via I-635 or via state highway 183 or 114. Ground transportation includes rental cars, taxis, limos and public transportation. To catch light rail to Dallas or Fort Worth, travelers take a Remote South bus from a terminal stop. These connect to the CentrePort/DFW Airport Station.

Each terminal has many eateries including Au Bon Pain Deli, Dunkin Doughnuts, Starbucks, Fuddruckers Hamburgers, TGI Fridays, Cool River Café, McDonald’s, Blue Mesa Taco & Tequila Bar, Popeyes, Bennigan’s, and Champs Grill and Bar. Wi-Fi is available throughout the airport. Business travelers can take advantage of business centers and laptop rentals. Samsung mobile lounges are available at every Terminal. Wired internet and charging stations are available at certain gates. Children’s play areas are located at D10 and E21. The Pepsi Junior Flyer’s Club play areas are at B12 and C14. McDonalds has a play area at D33. Grassy areas for pets are located at every terminal outside the security area.
