El Paso Intl Airport Information

Serving northern Mexico, West Texas, and New Mexico, the El Paso International Airport has been providing both cargo and passenger services for over 80 years. Each year, the airport serves roughly 3 million passengers and oversees 90,000 flight operations. Five airlines currently utilize this airport, including American Airlines, United, US Airways, Delta, and Southwest, making it a regional hub in the southwestern United States.

The airport has three runways and two concourses. Amenities at the El Paso International Airport include shoeshine services, a fresh flower booth, massage chairs, bookstores and newsstands. Passenger areas also feature a number of dining options, ranging from cafés to full-service restaurants. There is also a business center that provides fax and photocopy services, office supplies, and foreign currency exchange. Finally, free wireless internet access is available in all public areas throughout the airport, including the meet and greet area. Visitors can connect to the wireless through their own laptops or use guest courtesy computers.

Transportation to and from El Paso is available through the city’s public transportation system. The city bus runs seven days a week from the Downtown Plaza in El Paso to the airport. Additionally, many hotels and private companies offer shuttle services to and from the airport. For passengers desiring their own transportation, the airport is home to nine rental car companies, including Enterprise, National, Hertz, Budget, Dollar, and Avis. Taxi service is also available for transportation to El Paso.

There are several parking options at the El Paso International Airport. There are short and long term parking lots, as well as parking for visitors with disabilities. A free shuttle service runs between the passenger terminal and the long term parking area, with shuttle stops conveniently placed throughout the lot. The first 30 minutes of parking in both lots are free. There is also a convenient passenger drop-off area with a 10 minute waiting limit.
