Directions To Honolulu Intl Airport

The Honolulu International Airport is the largest of all the Hawaiian airports. It is located on the island of O’ahu, only a few miles from downtown Waikiki and Honolulu. The airport offers plenty of amenities for airline passengers, including restaurants, shops, and a number of ground transportation options such as rental cars. Anyone who needs to fly out of the Honolulu International Airport needs directions to get back to the airport to drop off their rental car or to catch their departing flight.

From East O’ahu and Waikiki
Drivers should take the H-1 Freeway west and stay in the right lane until they pass the Likelike off-ramp. From there, drivers will take the cutoff for the H-1 Freeway and keep in or close to the right lane for one mile until they exit on the airport off-ramp.

From there, drivers looking for the overseas terminal or the interisland terminal departures area need to stay on the second level and keep left while continuing to follow the signs to ticketing. Drivers need the arrivals terminal of both of these terminals should stay on the ground level and go to the right to continue following signs.

From the Nimitz Highway East
Drivers need to get in the westbound lanes of the Nimitz Highway and stay left. They will take a left onto Rodgers Boulevard. From there, drivers can follow the appropriate signs, which will take them to every possible area of the Honolulu International Airport.

From West O’ahu
Drivers need to get on the H-1 Freeway traveling east and follow the signs to the airport ext. Once they exit at the airport they need to continue to follow the signs leading them to the correct terminals. For the departure terminals, drivers will stay on the second level and stay left. For arrivals, they will stay on the ground level and to the right.

From the Nimitz Highway West

Drivers need to get on the Nimitz highway and travel east while keeping to the right. They will turn right onto Rodgers Boulevard and follow signs to the airport.
