There are a number of buses and shuttle services that run from the airport to popular locations around Houston on a regular basis. Shuttle service locations include downtown Houston, Uptown, Reliant Park/Reliant Astrodome, the Texas Medical Center, Greenway, Plaza, College Station, William P. Hobby Airport, and hotels in Houston's business districts. The Super Shuttle company offers shared van service from George Bush to many of the airport's neighboring communities.

Ground Transportation employees are available outside each George Bush airport terminal to hail taxis.
