Directions To Miami Intl Airport

The Miami International Airport is located at 2100 NW 42 Avenue in Miami. While there are a number of signs on the roads leading into the airport, not everyone is familiar with how to get to the Miami International Airport, which is why the airport provides directions to its facilities from some of Miami’s most popular destinations. These are the most direct, fastest routes to the Miami International Airport.

From Downtown Miami
Anyone staying in downtown Miami should follow these directions to the Miami International Airport. It is approximately five miles from downtown to the airport, and the drive time around nine minutes. Start going east on NW 15th Street to NW 18th Avenue and take the second right, which is NW 17th Avenue. From there, drivers should take the ramp on the right onto FL-836 west and stay on that road for 2.3 miles. Drivers should take the FL-953 North/Le Jeune Road exit and make a U-turn approximately one and a half miles down the road at NW 30th Street. Follow signs to the airport, which is on the right.

From the Port of Miami
People who fly into Miami to take a luxurious cruise through the Caribbean have to go home eventually. When their ship docks and it’s time to exit paradise, they should head to the airport using these simple directions, because this 9 mile drive takes less than 20 minutes. Go southeast on Australia Way and turn left onto Port Boulevard, keeping right at the fork in the road. Drivers should take a very slight left onto South American Way and continue to follow it as it turns into NE 6th Street/Port Boulevard. From there, drivers will need to take a left onto NE 1st Avenue and then take another left to merge onto I-395 West. Exit 3.2 miles later onto FL-953 North/Le Jeune Road, make a U-turn at NW 30th Street and follow the signs to the airport entrance on the right.
