Miami International airport offers several options when it comes to parking: The economy park and ride lot is one option. This comes with free shuttle to and from the airport, but space is limited and it is awarded on a first come, first serve basis. Garage parking is offered in the North Dolphin and South Flamingo garages. Travelers can use both garages for long-term and short-term parking. Valet parking is offered to travelers on the second level of both parking garages. There is disabled parking on every level of both parking garages.

Travelers with a long layover or a quick stop in Miami can book at room at the Miami International Airport Hotel, which is located in the main terminal. Rooms are soundproofed so travelers can get a quiet night’s sleep. There is a lobby bar and sushi bar for cocktails and light fare. The top floor of the airport houses a fine dining restaurant with a wide selection of menu items and views of Biscayne Bay.

Each of the terminals in the Miami International Airport offers a number of shops, stores, and restaurants for airlines passengers to enjoy while they wait for their next flight. There are more than 200 shops and restaurants in all. Passengers can enjoy a cocktail at several different restaurants and pick up a gift in one of the novelty shops. There are spas, clothing boutiques, and electronics stores.

Ground transportation is plentiful. The airport has several different rental car facilities located on-site. The MIA mover takes passengers from their terminals to the rental car facility and back upon their return. Additionally, there are complementary hotel shuttles located outside all of the baggage claim terminals.

There are several VIP Clubs and lounges located in each terminal. They are operated by each airline and require a membership for traveler access. Some of these clubs and lounges allow non-members to wait for their flight provided they are willing to pay a daily fee for access.
