Directions To San Antonio Intl Airport

Located on the outskirts of the city of San Antonio, the San Antonio International Airport offers travel to and from other major airport hubs around the United States and selected countries outside its borders. Those who are going on short flights to other cities in the United States or hopping onto a plane for the start of a lengthy trip will find transportation readily available at the facility. Through the city's sometimes complicated street, highway and Interstate system, the airport is not hard to find.

From the northern part of the city, follow Interstate Highway 281 until you reach the Airport Drive exit. Turn left onto South Terminal drive, continue down the road through two traffic lights and enter the Parking Entry Plaza if you intend to park a personal vehicle in one of the short term, long term or hourly parking areas. Stay in the middle lane to get to the Parking Plaza area, or take any left or right exit into the appropriate terminal area for your flight.

Travelers coming to the airport from the south should start on I-35, driving north on 281. Off of 281 North, navigate to the second Airport Exit, which will take you to parking and terminals. If you need to enter from the western part of the city, get onto Loop 410 East and travel until you see the exit for Airport Boulevard. Take that exit and turn left onto Airport Boulevard, then follow directions to terminals or parking areas. To come from the east, exit I-35 South onto Loop 410 West, and follow it until you reach the Airport Boulevard exit, then turn right and follow the road into the airport.
