Directions To Seattle-Tacoma Intl Airport

Finding your way to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, also called "Sea-Tac," is fairly simple no matter which direction you are coming from. From downtown Seattle, head South on Interstate 5 for approximately nine miles, then take exit 154B, which will merge onto WA-518 West. Continue for 1.5 miles, then take the exit toward Sea-Tac Airport and merge onto Airport Expressway.

If you are coming from the South, you will follow nearly the same exact directions: take I-5 North until you reach exit 154, at which point you will exit onto WA-518 West. After 1.5 miles, take the exit labeled "Sea-Tac Airport," which will then merge onto Airport Expressway. Just another half mile brings you to the airport terminal.

From East County (Renton, Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland), you will need to take I-405 South and continue on it until it turns into WA-518 West. Once it becomes WA-518, watch for the exit for Sea-Tac Airport because it will come up quickly in under one mile. Once you exit, merge onto Airport Expressway which brings you to the airport.

From Airport Expressway:

If you are headed for the departures area, you will need to watch for the departures sign and be ready to bear right when the road splits.

For arrivals, keep to the left when the road splits, then continue straight. Do not bear left again after the split or you will enter the parking garage.

The parking garage is located across the street from the terminal. You can access it from Airport Expressway by continually bearing to the left. If you miss it, continue through either the departures or arrivals area and take the first left. The fastest access to the terminal is on the fourth floor, but this level is for short term parking only. General parking is located on floors 3 and 5-8. Hourly, daily, and weekly rates are available.
